Shimano Curado 200 K features a Micromodule Gear system and a Stable Spool design, providing a more efficient gear train with a smoother, more positive feel than the much loved previous model.
The combination of the CI4+ body and the aluminum frame makes the Curado 200 K very tough but still lightweight.
The SVS infinity braking system controls spool speed for precision casting, making it possible to cast lighter lures while fishing for bass.
This reel is designed to fit the needs of freshwater predator fisherman but is also able to withstand the tough saltwater conditions due to the 4 Shielded A-RB + 2 Shielded Stainless Steel ball bearings.
The Curado 200 K will be available in 3 gear ratios: 6,2:1, 5.0:1, and a very high ratio of 8,5:1.
The 5.0:1 provides the most power and is the best choice when fishing big lures with a lot of water resistance. The 6.2;1 gives a good balance between speed and power. The 8,5:1 is the model which is all about speed (91 cm line retrieve per handle rotation), which is the best choice for fishing where fast response is a prerequisite!
The Curado is a true allrounder who is also not afraid to cast bigger lures with more weight and fight big fish.
Because of the 200 sizes, it will fit perfectly for pike and big black bass fishing with medium-sized lures (medium-sized jerk baits, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, soft baits).
