Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI

The Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI is right at home hunting for carp or bass, and on the beach for shad, or grunter in the estuary. At a really amazing price!

Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI

The Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI is one of the smallest in Shimano’s lower-end priced models to include cold forged HAGANE gears. The drag power has also been upgraded and the gear ratios increased, meaning the Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI is good for everything from freshwater to light-tackle saltwater species.

This is a cool reel. That can handle the abuse of a good shad session on the beach, and also pull a big bass out of his hole. It’s a great size and weight and can be used for many different fishing situations. You would feel confident fishing the estuaries for job and grunter with a Shimano Sedona 3000HGFI at your side. It casts great – especially when filled with some of that multi-thread casting braid.

And it’s a real handsome looking spinning reel. With close semblance to it’s way more expensive older brothers. And it rolls so smooth and easy, it feels like those more expensive models.

This reel would hold it’s own out at sea too. It would be the ideal live-bait jigging reel on a nice 7ft estuary style rod. You’ll have the time of your life winding full lines of mackerel and red-eye sardines. And chuck a light spoon onto it, and cast for bonito and snoek on the surface.
