The Shimano TX5 12FT 3.25 carp rod range is based on the latest manufacturing processes, using a blend of HPC200 and Biofibre carbon that results in a very slim and powerful blank. Thereby enhancing casting performance.
Although the blanks are very powerful, the TX 5 does not compromise on fighting action in the tip- and middle section! The parabolic bend maintains a secure hook-hold.
The new TX 5 features red tipping on black cosmetic wrapping which will immediately catch the eye of the angler.
The rear grip is manufactured from a material called Winn Grip, this material minimizes the rod slipping when wet.
An added benefit is the distinctive look of these premium carp rods with a great feeling of the grip.
The heavier action of the 3.25lb blank lends itself to long-distance carping for large fish!
